So How Are Things? (Flash MarketPlace)

I mean, honestly. I've been in a pickle lately and having done some research, finding out that a sponsored flash game from here COULD net me a whole whopping $100 (or more, if it's the right kind of game, but I'm dirt poor so I'd gladly take $100) for a game. So the past month and a half I've been looking into using this service, and well, unfortunately for me, they just killed that part of the service. Or at least it looks like it.

So. You do not have to disclose anything sensitive. But for those of you using The Flash Marketplace forum trying to get bids.

HAVE you gotten any bids from sponsors on your games?

I know some things are handled privately but you'd expect to see some responses to the games on there. Or some activity. But honestly.

How are things? And has anyone that has submitted flash games to The Flash Marketplace forum got any bids yet?

xhunterko, just check the new auction subforum.

But to get $100 the better way is to make 2 decent mobile games. If everything goes well, you'll earn much more.

I love how people don't read posts.

I honestly don't care how much you've gotten on bids. I just want to know, if anyone using the system has got a bid or not?

Unless it's against the rules then please say so and not derail the thread or give off topic comments please.

To be honest, I have no insights to if anyone has made a deal through our forums since the marketplace has closed.

Personally, I don't think it has been up long enough to get a good gauge on it.   If any deals have been started, from my history of working with publishers and developers in the marketplace, the deals are probably in negotiation still.   Eliminating the bidding from the equasion probably wont speed up deals too dramatically.

I bet once deals are made on through the forums developers and publishers will get the word out.  It's prolly a little early now. IMO.
