Hi, I am an indie and I am planning to build a game with a smooth animation as seen on game of dice. I like the way they move the hair fringe, limbs and heads with a very smooth transition. I am also curious if this was coded and rotated or created as sprite sheets with animation?

I never saw that game, but it maybe 3d software with a 2d cartoon rendering. Do you have any youtube preview of this game?

using flash is doable, the animations of game of dice isn't so smooth.
but if you want smoother animation, including mesh deformation, try googling spine or live2d.

Thanks kokgini for your software suggestions. Will look into both of them now. Laughing

As for youtube videos Blackizzy, A friend of mine has recently created a channel in which he shows gameplay/strategic videos for different games he is currently playing. You can check some of his Game of Dice videos in this link. :)
