Hi,

The game almost finished, but I have no idea what music fit to game. There are lot of good sound effects in the game, so maybe the music just make worse the game.

I thought kind of short music loop, but I can't found anything good. The music in the video just for the trailer, not for the game.

Here is the game trailer. Any ideas?

Kinda odd. The game seems full of stuff, but slow paced. Usually, for this genre, something heart pumping would be what I would recommend, but I don't think that will work with the pace of this game.

What were you thinking overall? What feelings do you want the music to elicit? What do you want to 'say' with the music?

How do you mean slow paced?

I'm not sure about this game needs music, because of lot of sound effects in game, car horns, traffic ambinents, planes, railways, etc.. so maybe will be two choice in the game: 1, sound effects without music. 2, only music, no sound effects.

I found this http://www.freesound.org/people/knarmahfox/sounds/72145/

It's not bad, but too short and monoton loop.

Well, it's not exactly a fast twitch game. You can use music to music to add a sense of urgency or use it to support the speed of the interaction. Up to you.

Having a lot of sound effects doesn't necessarily mean you need to eschew music. Sometimes you can head in the other direct and create some chaos that supports a feeling of frenzy in the player. Purrmageddon is an example of this: http://www.dojo.com/game/purrmageddon. Though if you don't want music, don't use music.

Your free loop seems to be worth what it costs.

Keep in mind that dime-a-dozen electronic music is not well received by publishers or players. Certainly there are exceptions, but it usually foreshadows an amateur level game.

On mobile a lot of players will mute your music anyway. Make sure it's good if you're going to have it (and definitely have a mute option!).
