fullScreenSourceRect doesn't work in AIR for Android?

Hi all,
We're working on a mobile version of our game Castle (http://store.steampowered.com/app/339290/), but are having problems when trying to change the resolution as we normally do in the Desktop version.

Here's how we usually do it:
1. Scale the game, for example:
root.scaleX = 0.75; root.scaleY = 0.75; //This makes the game 75% smaller

2. Use fullScreenSourceRect to select the new game dimensions:
stage.fullScreenSourceRect = new Rectangle(0, 0, 640, 360);

3. Take the new rectangle and make it fullscreen:
stage.displayState = StageDisplayState.FULL_SCREEN;

This really increases the performance, but it doesn't seem to work when publishing for Android.
It's like the fullScreenSourceRect is ignored...

But it stays unsolved... (you can try the simple example to quickly test the problem though)

FYI We use Flash CS6 and target AIR 15.0.0.356 for Android.

I'm afraid it doesn't work that way in mobile compilator.

Beside on GPUaccelerated games in Android that wouldnt give you any significant boost.
