Hi,

I am the developer of jVArcade and have just noticed that I am no longer able to save scores or achievements from gamersafe games. I have also been receiving forums posts from other users of my system that they to have the same issue.

The games I have used in development still work when played via gamersafe.com but when tried from my local host and test server they wont save scores to the leaderboard. It seems that I have no connection to the data bridge. Have there been any changes made that would prevent open access to the data bridge and scoring API ? Can games hosted on portals still access everything ?

Regards,

Pete

I haven't modified the data bridge lately. This is the second inquiry I've received this week about it, but my own testing isn't showing any new behavior... I'll keep looking, and keep you informed.

If it helps the games I use in development are http://flashgamedistribution.com/game/Shooting-Game and http://flashgamedistribution.com/game/Woodbox-Marble-Lines

I find that with the woodbox marbles when the dialog appears to submit score after enter a name then clicking submit the timer animation appears and nothing further happens. With the shooting game none of the achievements are being received. However both games are working normally when played via the links given above.

When viewing the network requests in IE developer console I can see no obvious POST or GET failures.

Woodbox marbles hosted on my site can be found here http://www.ukgamingzone.com/component/jvarcade/game/id:1640:Woodbox-Marble-Lines.html

Regards,
Pete

I've updated GS today to deal with a few issues, and the Bridge seems to be working properly now. It may have had something to do with the fp14 ExternalInterface change. Please let me know if this problem continues.
