Alternative to admob

I have noticed a sharp decline in admob revenue in some of my games. Can any1 tell me a good alternative to admob that generates good revenue |

Have you tried using leadbolt? I heard some people have made decent revenue with it on mobile devices but I'm not to sure myself. Some also use admob + leadbolt, kinda like having an ad banner at the top with admob and also a button that says "show more apps" on the bottom, where a leadbolt AppWall opens up when its touched. |

I'd like to know more about Vungle, specifically their video ads :), I've heard good stuff about HeyZap but for me it's performing worse than Chartboost (<$1 ecpm). |

I heard heyzap is only good for cross promoting your app. I havent tried chartboost but ppl say its not better than admob. |

We saw a significant drop in Admob rates about the same time as you reported it sandeep. It was unexpected since normally CPMs climb a lot in December. We were able to re-route most of the inventory in the mobile platform to other networks which were performing well. Applovin got the majority but some games did better on Heyzap, Adbudiz, Chartboost and a few other networks that are standard in our mediation layer. From talking with our contacts at Google Admob made a chance in how they record clicks. If a tap happens in the first second of an ad view it is now ignored. That lead to a big drop in CTR and thus the overall effective rate they paid. I'm hoping the rates will bounce back but its quite possible this change will have a long term effect. |

Yes i noticed this too. Whenever i accidentally clicked on a interstitial popup nothing happened. I had to click it again to go to advertised app. I think i will have to try chartboost and see how it goes. |

Yes, most networks are down in January. Strangely one of our reward providers with $60 CPM inventory (US only) is going strong and we will have our best month ever. January is on track to end over $70,000 just from that one vendor. These are trickier to add within a game but if you have an in-game currency there are several ways it can be done. Even something simple where the currency is used to unlock levels could work. We are close to deploying a huge update to Adsorb which will give us even more control over maximizing the inventory value. Should be a very good year! |
