I'm looking for a utility/process for converting a sound in a soundfont file to individual note sound files (WAV, for example). I've google'd and found various soundfonts, and utilities, but so many of these are dated and either don't work, or half the sounds are corrupted, or I can't actually figure out the process. I have yet to find a solid processes to do this. Any thoughts?

I'm not an expert in soundfonts, hell, I barely know what they are, but looking around I found a couple of things.

Looks like it has a built in 'recorder' that converts to WAV. Maybe you could import your current sf2 files into this then use it as a convertor? It works on OS X, Win and Linux.

Says it'll do it. Maybe dropping them an email to confirm it'll do what you need is a good idea. Win only though.

Since it seems (correct me if I'm wrong) that soundfonts rely on specific hardware or software, possibly just record the output of your sound font editor into a DAW.
