Goodbye wallet. Steam Summer Sale just went live

The annual 'Buy more games than you'll ever be able to play in a thousand lifetimes' sale just dropped.

http://store.steampowered.com/

I know Hotline Miami has a cult following.  Sins of a Solar Empire is a ridiculously deep space RTS which my brother and I have put about 200 hours apiece into.  (It's sort of like a real-time version of Master of Orion II.)  This 'flash sale' stuff is really devious.  Checking back every 8 hours?  Only for you, steam.

Any of these games jump out at anyone?  I don't want to miss out on a killer game just because I haven't heard of it.

You win - your thread shall live.

I'm looking forward to Ikaruga on sale, Rouge Legacy (always on sale during steam sales), and anything else of quality below $8.

I'll be purchasing DMC and Mirror's edge since there on sale. I never ended up passing mirror's edge since I only had the demo before. But, has anyone tried "Don't starve"? It's the same price as tim horton's Flavoured Iced Latte Supreme and looks pretty good, so its a pretty hard bargain to choose which one to get.

I'm also waiting for Rogue Legacy to pop up since I just saw it on Humble Bundle for 14.99. If you happen to see it on steam's sale, then give us a shout here!

Saints Row IV, Risk of Rain, Castle Crashers, Rouge Legacy, and a bunch more on sale today - all worth buying.

Can I get my next paycheck early? :D

Oh jeez... my brother is gonna kill me if I don't pick up Rogue Legacy.  Hitman Absolution is apparently underrated as well.  From what I saw on the Conan O'Brien 'Clueless Gamer' video, looks like it has potential:

(BTW the 'Clueless Gamer' series on the whole is pretty funny.  'Conan Plays Minecraft' is the best one.)

Conan o brian is hilarious! I have actually seen all of his game reviews on youtube, which is sad to say on my part...

But you can trust Conan's reviews, his scoring seems legit (according to himself)

Not too impressed with the five zombie survival early access games that were all the daily deal the other day.  What a silly thing to put them all together.

You have that backwards.  You play them all summer and go out and play when it's nice and comfy outside.

This post is the best argument yet I've heard for moving to Canada.  Consider me tempted.

(Also Tim Hortons pls... expand to USA.  You'll be jillionaires.)
