Hi,

I recently added a mobile game on the website and it's got 42 views. But 15 of these views have a duration of 00:00:00. Are you experiencing this with your games?

It looks like a major problem and I would like to understand exactly what is going on and try to fix it. It seems like people open the game but don't actually play it for some reason?

It may be someone clicking your title and then backing out instantly. Perhaps from someone not meaning to click your link.  I actually get emails from developers a lot about the 00:00:00 view time.  On occasion I click the game, check some information and back out quickly.

Its not bug or problem, its just unfortunate that you have more of this phenomenon happen than normal.

Good luck. I hope this helped shine some light on the issue.

Thanks, that helps.

I thought there is something wrong with my game and they were not able to play it (thought of a bug or something). But the view time is based on the time the user has spent on that html page, not the time they actually played the game.

One other question: my game is for mobile only and when I go to the page to see it it says it can only be opened using the FGL app. So I installed the app but can't login because I am not a sponsor. Based on the view stats, the game hasn't been seen by any sponsors so my guess is that no one has actually seen and played the game since 90% of the views are from developers.

Unless I am missing something here, what is the point in letting developers see the game page if they can't actually play the game?

Well you can turn off the developer view in your game options. Other than that, the mobile platform is fairly new and we are still working on setting it up to benefit all aspects of the FGL community.

I actually noticed there were sponsors and buyers who have played your game.

Hi,

I know that this thread is pretty old but I am experiencing the same issue, except that it only happens when the sponsors came from "Android Games Client".
Our games are developed for web and android platforms, and we never had this behaviour on browser views.

Maybe it is just a coincidence.

Does anyone face this issue (no view duration only on android/mobile)?

When a publisher views your games through the FGL Mobile App, you will only see a time of 0.  The app does not track how long the publisher stays on that listing and there is no tracking as to how long they may have played your game.  Basically the app sends a notification to the system to show you that someone looked at that listing.

Thank you for your reply!

If there is no issue coming from my apk, everything is alright :)
