Pint Night

For all of you heading out to the unofficial lunch we are looking to migrate to a venue for happy hour.  Those of you arriving later in the night we can meet up for drinks and the kick off of the weekend in SF.

Join us for an unofficial lunch before FGS

Right now we are looking at the Beer Garden with an outdoor setting that has character and affordable drinks.
BEER GARDEN: http://www.zeitgeistsf.com/        |      LocationGoogle Map    | EDIT: they serve mix drinks too.

When:  Friday the 25th    |    Time:   6:00 pm and on into the night. (happy hour lasts till 8)

More Photos of the place        |           Reviews and overview on Yelp.com

So hopefully most of us heading out to the lunch can meet up here for some drinks.  They also have a selection of food with Hamburgers at $5.00, there are also a variety of California brews on tap.

So if you guys can give me a shout out i can figure out the amount of people attending and can make some phone calls to see if we can get a table set up.

EDIT: cross your fingers and hope it doesn't rain.

FRIDAY THE 25 Hopefully the front moves past by Friday.

Yeah bring a sweatshirt.  Well it doesn't get below 50.   As long as there is no rain i don't see a problem drinking in the fresh air with a little extra clothing on.   I guess we can look into another place, the zeitgeist has a huge back yard which should be shielded from the wind and can accommodate a lot of people.  EDIT: right now its a little chili so i might get my pants on(edit i have shorts and sandals on at 6pm), but a sweatshirt and pants will hold ya over as well as a drink and good conversation.

Cold? That's not cold! It's all relative I guess. I am showing up from the Canadian frozen tundra where the temperature last week was a balmi -39 C. that's about -34 F. I think I'm brining nothing but shorts! And an umbrella.

Ha!

This is part of what makes Canadians so easy going. When you have to deal with extreme temperatures like this, everything else seems simple.

It's 28 degrees out right now, and it feels warm. It was -5 last night. 50 and above is shorts, and a t-shirt, pants and a hoodie at the most.

I've definitely enjoyed a few beers while out in the rain at Zeitgeist. It's just part of the experience. Count me in Jesse.

Depending on how long you guys stay there I may meet you later on, as I have something to go to in the evening. Here in England we can easy stay at the pub till around 3, but I don't know how it works over there ;)

I'll definitely be able to make it to this. I'll be at the hotel for the indie giving event by 3pm on Friday so while I'll miss the lunch meetup unfortunately at least I can make it to this later event.
