Its very simple: when you upload your game to Newgrounds and Kongregate drop links here and FGL community will vote and review your games on those sites. This thread serves mainly to avoid spamming chat + opening many new threads in General Chat or Game Makers Club.

To keep this thread from becoming nothing more than a plea for ratings, I suggest the following:

a) Just a link to the game(s) where we can vote or rate the game.

b) No one replies with a "voted" or similar message.

c) Please refrain from discussions of games, votes, etc, etc.

Just my .02. ;) Carry on.

would be great if FGL could make a custom page for this rather than a forum thread, because people will eventually stop looking at this

Please dont add "I need votes" or "it needs votes" etc, etc, it really makes the thread and fgl look un professional.

I got an idea (though no game right now)

If you want a link to your game, you need to vote on at least 3 previous ones. In your post, (only if you are having a link) you could have this format:

Game 1's Name: 3/5
Game 2's Name: 2/5
Game 3's Name: 3/5

MY LINK HERE

then previous people can see who rated their game, and maybe ask questions on why they gave it a low (or high) rating, without the need of too much spam. Also, a list could be added in the first post, in order of newest to oldest.

Randomman, when we rate on an external website, we always give each other the highest rating.

not really, that depends on the person. Some have standards to play first and judge the game fairly before voting. Some others too lazy to play, etc :P .

Yes rosedragon but if we rate we always rate full, otherwise we don't rate. I hope not at least!

I agree with both: I rate from 4/5 to 5/5 if the game is worth one of those, but I won't rate lower than that out of courtesy. Oh, my ratings tend to be based on the game's originality - I don't want to play the same game again by a different developer.

And we are back at the old topic, wouldn't it be better into deleting the offtopic posts (like this one) and just make people put a link here. Since this is not supposed to be a 5/5 for my game thread, like explained in the previous thread, but a vote for my game thread. So it doesn't make the voting unfair.
